Celebrating RSW Artists is an exhibition at the Strathearn Gallery in Crieff, which does exactly as it says on the tin. It includes many artists who have been honoured to be elected as professional members of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour, who show a variety of styles and techniques, all using water based mediums. The exhibition opens today, Saturday 29th May, and runs until 27th June 2021.

As galleries have now reopened to the public, there is another chance to see several pieces of Simon's work at the Mcgill Duncan Gallery in Castle Douglas in the Scottish Borders, including this painting 'Something Red No2'. The work will be on show until 14th of May. For full details click HERE

Imagined Landscape is one of two paintings which are still available and included in Fidra Fine Art's Mixed Winter Exhibition which runs until the 28th February. The annual Scottish Show at Panter and Hall Gallery in London's Pall Mall is once again upon us, albeit in an online format only this time. Simon is honoured to be showing with a selection of regular gallery artists, some new discoveries and works from artists from the last century. The Working From Home Collection is a new exhibition at Panter and Hall in London, featuring several of their best selling house artists, including Simon. Now that more people are working from home it seems like an ideal time to upgrade and improve your working environment. This exhibition will hopefully inspire you to start your own art collection to rival that of your employer.

The Summer Show at The Lemond Gallery in Bearsden opens this evening and runs until Sunday 19th July. This mixed show has over 600 works including 'Inlet' by Simon. The gallery is open 11am to 5pm daily with full safety measures in place. For more details click HERE

Due to the COVID - 19 pandemic, many artists have found themselves without work, gallery work, exhibitions and sales have disappeared. In an attempt to help alleviate some of this stress @matthewburrowsstudio has instigated the #artistsupportpledge on Instagram. 
The concept is a simple one. Images are posted of your work, to sell for no more than £200 each and every time you reach £1000 of sales you pledge to buy another artist's work for £200.

The Affordable Art Fair in Battersea, London opens on Thursday 12th and runs until Sunday 15th March 2020. Simon will once again be showing with Panter and Hall, who can be found at stand L1, and will be including this painting 'Big Greek Table' . Take Five, at Fidra Fine Art in Gullane is a group show of five of the most colourful and popular artists working in Scotland today. Included is Simon, George Birrell, John Kingsley DA RSW PAI, Stephen Mangan and Astrid Trugg. The exhibition opens on February 29th and runs until 29th March. Full details are available HERE
