Due to the COVID - 19 pandemic, many artists have found themselves without work, gallery work, exhibitions and sales have disappeared. In an attempt to help alleviate some of this stress @matthewburrowsstudio has instigated the #artistsupportpledge on Instagram. 
The concept is a simple one. Images are posted of your work, to sell for no more than £200 each and every time you reach £1000 of sales you pledge to buy another artist's work for £200.

The Affordable Art Fair in Battersea, London opens on Thursday 12th and runs until Sunday 15th March 2020. Simon will once again be showing with Panter and Hall, who can be found at stand L1, and will be including this painting 'Big Greek Table' . Take Five, at Fidra Fine Art in Gullane is a group show of five of the most colourful and popular artists working in Scotland today. Included is Simon, George Birrell, John Kingsley DA RSW PAI, Stephen Mangan and Astrid Trugg. The exhibition opens on February 29th and runs until 29th March. Full details are available HERE

The Scottish Show at Panter and Hall gallery in Pall Mall, London, is now into it's 20th year and Simon is delighted to be represented once again at this outstanding exhibition which showcases some of the best of Scottish contemporary art and artists. Delighted and honoured that 'Ice Cap' has received The Walter Scott Award at the RSW 139th Annual Exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh. A huge thank you all at Walter Scott for the award and our gratitude for their continued support of the RSW and the visual arts in general. The Mixed Winter Exhibition at Fidra Fine Art in Gullane features paintings, ceramics and sculpture from many regular gallery artists along with a few new faces. Panter and Hall's Twentieth Birthday Exhibition opens tomorrow in their Pall Mall gallery in London. It is a selection of work from many of the artists whom they have shown over the last twenty years. Simon has been with them since they opened their first gallery in Shepherd Market and is very honoured to have two pieces included in the exhibition. Here's to the next 20 years!

Frames Gallery in Perth are currently holding a 40th Anniversary Show - Forty Years of Excellence - which showcases some of the best work of artists who have shown with them over years.

Cameron Contemporary Art in Brighton and Hove are holding their annual Colour of Summer Show which opens on 13th July and runs until 30th August. Paintings, ceramics, sculpture and jewellery will all be exhibited and many artists new to the gallery will feature alongside gallery favourites.

Fresh Art Fair is now in its third year at Cheltenham Racecourse and has become one of the leading provincial art fairs in the UK.
